How do you go about purchasing a home care service?

When care and support in the home is needed, it is often difficult to know where to start, or how the service will be funded. You may:

  • choose or need to pay for care services yourself privately,
  • have seen social services and be eligible for state funded care
  • be eligible for state funded care but not enough for your personal needs and wish to ‘top up’ your care with private payments

What happens after contacting Assured Quality Care?

We will arrange an free in-home care assessment in your home. This will ensure that we understand exactly what is needed and will be able to provide you with an accurate cost for the care service.

Our Registered Manager will arrange to come and meet you or your loved one at home to discuss the types of care and support needed.

Our Registered Manager will also be able to offer advice and guidance, spending time with you to discuss the type and level of support that best suits you. A care needs assessment will be created, and a risk assessment to ensure that both our customer and care worker are safe.

Once the initial assessment has been completed, we will create a personal support plan based on how you would like us to help, ensuring that you receive the services you need, when you need them. At this point, we will be able to understand more about your requirements and establish what will work best for you and those around you.

We understand that needs change so we regularly review and update our care plans to reflect this.

Charges are usually based upon an hourly rate but we can accommodate a wide variety of requirements, from the occasional hour or part of, up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
